Setting quotas for end users in ESPM

Setting up ESPM print quotas helps manage costs by limiting excessive color and black-and-white printing while encouraging resource-conscious behavior. ESPM quota management supports sustainability, minimizes waste, and ensures printing activities align with organizational budgets and conservation goals.

Prerequisite understanding: The administrator should have basic familiarity with the ESPM Administrator’s portal.

Context: ESPM administrators can implement strict quotas and enforce printing policies to manage usage effectively.

Step 1: Navigate to the “MFD Network” menu (below the Print Management section)

Step 2: Click “Quotas”

Step 3: Click “Add Quotas”

Step 4: Complete the “Quota Details”, “Quota Targets”, and “Quota Limits” parameters of the form

Step 5: Click “Add Quota”

Step 6: Confirm that your newly created quota is shown on the landing page of the “Quota List “page
