St. Ann’s Community in New York is Rochester’s leading senior housing and health services provider, with a tradition of quality care for older adults that began over 150 years ago.

They provide a complete continuum of care for seniors, offering everything from independent living to 24-hour skilled nursing.

St. Ann’s Community is one of Rochester’s largest private employers, with six facilities and employing approximately 1,200 people who are caring for the most important people on earth.

Challenge
Being in the healthcare sector, St. Ann’s faced increased paperwork and patient record tracking, along with outdated technology. However, the biggest challenge was the considerable number of contracted vendors providing printing and digital solutions – 12 to be exact.

Enhanced Security: Devices were equipped with card readers to enable residents and staff to release projects at the right location and to the right person providing a vital level of security.
Sustainability Support: Implemented Toshiba’s PrintReleaf Reforestation Program, reforesting over 500 trees, reinforcing its commitment to environmental initiatives.

Result
With Toshiba’s solutions, St. Ann’s Community has achieved more than one million dollars in savings since 2022, which is about half the amount they previously spent on managed print technology.
