Scheduled Reporting

Administrators may want to generate a print activity report and schedule it to be sent to a specific user on a designated day. This article provides step-by-step guidance for scheduling and distributing reports.

Prerequisite understanding: Administrators should have printers discovered and provisioned, with some print activity already captured, before generating a report.

The following provides an abbreviated step-by-step guide on how to proceed:

Context: A report is generated based on the parameters chosen by the administrator, including specific data points. The report is then shared via email on a defined schedule.

Step 1: Navigate to the “Activity Reports” menu

Step 2: Select the “Custom Reports” sub-menu

Step 3: In the “Report Data For” dropdown, choose the target you want to collect data on

Step 4: Select the time period for which you’d like to capture data

Step 5: Set the report parameters, including the frequency and duration for report delivery

Step 6: Click the “Schedule” button

Step 7: Click “Save” to finalize the scheduled report
