SAVING ON THE HDD

An original is scanned, and its data is stored on the HDD of the machine. No data is printed or sent out.

Operation

    Place the original

    Place the original in the automatic document feeder or on the document glass.

    Tap the [Scan to HDD] key on the action panel

    Set a file name and a storage location

    • For original scan settings, see the explanation of copy or image send mode.
    • If the original is 2-sided, be sure to tap the [Original] key and then tap the [2-sided Tablet] key or the [2-sided Booklet] key as appropriate for the original.
  4. 2

    Tap the [Start] key to start scanning

    When the original is scanned and a peep sounds, the data has been stored.
