INFORMATION ADDED TO FILES
Overview
When saving a file using "File", you can add the following information to distinguish it from others.
You cannot add information when saving a file with Quick File.
You cannot add information when saving a file with Quick File.
User Name | The user name is required to enter a file ownership and other information. The user name must be registered in advance. | |

Stored to | Specifies a folder to store files. | |
Property | Sharing |
Any user can display and operate files having the "Sharing" property. |
Protect |
Once "Protect" is set, its file cannot be edited, moved, and deleted. No password setting is required. The protected files are identified by "" in each mode. | |
Confidential |
You can set a password (5 to 32 digits long) for file protection. The confidential files are identified by "" in each mode. |
- You can rename a file and change its property even after you have saved the file.
- Even if you have saved a file using the Quick File function, you can change its property to "Sharing" or "Protect".

To store a user name:
- In the "Setting mode (administrator)", select [User Control] → [User List].

If you cannot remember the password for confidential files and folders:
- in "Setting mode (administrator)", select [System Settings] → [Document Filing Settings] → [Administrator Authority Setting] and set the [Password Change] box to . Now, you can open any confidential file and confidential folder using the administrator password. Tap the [See Detailed Information] key on the action panel, and set a new password.
