Toshiba Earns Recognition For Feature-Rich, User-Friendly Color and Monochrome e-STUDIO MFPs

(TABS) today announced that it has received four BERTL's Best awards from Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories (BERTL™), reinforcing its position as a technical leader and innovator in the digital office products industry. Recognizing the best in digital imaging technology and innovation, awards were presented to TABS in the categories of:

  • Best Workgroup Occasional Color (e-STUDIO™351c/451c)
  • Best Low-Volume CRD/Commercial Color Range (e-STUDIO2100c/3100c)
  • Best 50 to 59 ppm Monochrome Office MFP (e-STUDIO520)
  • Best 60 to 69 ppm Monochrome Office MFP (e-STUDIO600)

The e-STUDIO351c/451c MFP series, producing documents at a rate of 11 color pages-per-minute (ppm) and 35 and 45 monochrome ppm respectively, was the winner in the Best Workgroup Occasional Color category. The series was chose as a result of "its combination of easy-to-use functional templates and a well-designed interface, complemented by flexible paper sourcing and finishing options."


Receiving the title of Best Low-Volume CRD/Commercial Color Range, the e-STUDIO2100c/3100c MFP series can achieve 31 monochrome ppm and 21 and 31 color ppm respectively. The series was selected for its "strong combination of very high image quality, fast output and depth of functionality - at a competitive price."


Winning in the Best 50 to 59 ppm Monochrome Office MFP category, the 2,400 x 600 dpi e-STUDIO520 was recognized for catering "to the diverse needs of a departmental environment by offering excellent image quality plus a rich feature set that can be fully utilized and personalized by Toshiba's user-specific template technology."


Toshiba's 2,400 x 600 dpi e-STUDIO600 received the distinction of Best 60 to 69 ppm Monochrome Office MFP, with BERTL noting, "the Toshiba e-STUDIO600 leaves few holes for the competition to pick at, and delivers its advanced feature set in a user-friendly format."
