If virtual memory on a Windows operating system is set lower than usual , insufficient memory errors will occur and drawing operations in applications or printer drivers will not perform properly. Documents may not print correctly or the following problems may occur: - Application errors. - Printing discontinues without warning. - "86 parameter" appears on the display panel of the printer and printing discontinues. Increase the memory setting for virtual memory, and then start printng. If this is not helpful, add additional memory on the computer. |

Depending on amount of the memory installed on your computer, printing may take longer from an application. Also, an operating system running on insufficient memory may cause an application to discontinue printing. |
