The current universal driver that supports Windows 10 on our recent machines also provides Windows 10 and Window 7 support for this model. To get this more-recent driver, down load the Universal 2 PCL/PS driver for any recent model. The e-STUDIO5008A is an example of a model with uses this driver.
If you are getting satisfactory performance with the model-specific driver you already have, you likely have no reason to install the Universal driver.
