TYPES OF DOCUMENT FILING

Overview

Data can be saved by document filing as follows: [Quick File] or [File] in copy mode or image send mode, [Scan to HDD] in document filing mode, and [Scan to External Memory Device].
Quick File
When the original is copied or an image is sent, the data can be saved on the HDD simultaneously. You can easily save data without entering a file name and other information. Any person can access to the saved data. Do not use the Quick File function if you wish to protect data from access by others.
File
When the original is copied or an image is sent, the data can be saved on the HDD simultaneously. Unlike the Quick File function, you can add various control information to the data during saving. Also, you can protect data with a password.
Scan to HDD
This function scans the original and stores it on the HDD. Similar to the File function, you can add various control information to the save data.
Scan to External Memory Device
This function scans an original and stores it on an external memory device such as a USB memory device. Similar to the File function, you can add various control information to the save data.
