IMPORTANT POINTS WHEN USING DOCUMENT FILING
Overview
Take the following notes when using the document filing function.
- When you save data using [Quick File], it is saved as a file having the "Sharing" property. Any person can recall this file and can print or send it out. If you need to protect sensitive data from access by others, never use the [Quick File] function for data saving. (After you have saved a file, you can change its property to "Protect".)
- When saving a file with [File], you can save it with the "Confidential" property. You can set a password to protect "Confidential" files from being access by others. Always take care not to disclose the password to others.
- Even if you have saved a file to have the "Confidential" property, you can change its property to "Sharing" or "Protect". Do not store sensitive documents or documents that you do not want to be used by others.
- Except in cases provided for by law, TOSHIBA TEC Corporation bears no responsibility for any damages that result from the disclosure of sensitive information due to manipulation by a third party of any data saved using the Quick File function or File function, or incorrect operation of the Quick File function or File function by the operator who saves the data.
